MURDER THE TIME!!

It’s just an exaggeration :P
The internet is still disconnected. I’ve finished reading “The Winner Stands Alone” by Paulo Coelho and I do not bring my cross-stitch. I don’t know what else I should do, so let me just write a random thought here.
I arrived in Bangalore on 18 May 2011. The whole NOC group are staying in Ashirvad, a retreat house at #30 St. Mark’s Road. I am very glad that we stay in a retreat house because the place is so peaceful and the place makes me forget that I’m in the middle of a hectic city, the centre of IT Hub: Bangalore! They have a nice chapel on the first floor with a picture of Jesus with his right hand facing the front and he is sitting under the tree. His robe is also in Buddhist-monk style. When my friend asked, “Why is Jesus’ posture like Buddha?” I told her, “Hmm.. Actually we never know what Jesus’ style in preaching. We always have this imagination that Jesus preached like the current priests or pastors who stand and talk with a voice projection towards the audience, but who knows his style is sitting under the tree and talking calmly and softly? We never knows. And of course, there’s an Indian influence here. Even in Bangkok, the Church decoration has Thai art influence. In Indonesia, we have a ‘gong’ near the altar.”
There is a convent near Ashirvad. They have an adoration room and it was soooooooooooo peaceful inside (of course, coz the Lord is really present!! J ). I have not had chance to attend the mass at the convent because it was 30minutes earlier than the one in Ashirvad, but me and friends visited the liturgical centre which sells books and sacramentals in a very affordable price!! So.... I finally buy an English bible. Hehehehe. I talked to Sr. Juliana, a nun in the liturgical centre, and I told her that I really want to go to Goa and do pilgrimage to the place of the body of St. Francis Xavier. The nun said that even though she is in India, she also hasn’t had the opportunity to go there. Then I told myself, perhaps I can visit Goa in other time.
My initial plan was as followed: after 1-week workshop, I want to go to Goa because I will only fly to Delhi and go to Haryana (where I will work for 2 months) on 1 June. However, it turns out that we have to work in other company for 1 week. So... bubye Goa!! Me and my friend also really want to go to Leh, to a place where the last scene of “Three Idiots” movie took place. Again, I thought I would have 5 days buffer between arrival in Haryana and the start of internship. In fact, I will start on 3 June! So... bubye Leh!
Actually I’m kinda like what I’m doing during this 1-week buffer before I’m leaving to Haryana. I have to find ways to promote the company’s website and this job is kinda nostalgic for me because it requires me to go online and search from one site to another site, just like what I did in Yahoo! last year. However, the on-off-on-off-on-off-off-off-off internet makes me frustrated. Hahahaha. But it’s ok. I’ll get used to it (or maybe I’m used to it). I experience the same thing in Indonesia and complaining doesn’t make things better. Hahaha.
